We’ve kept you updated on this campaign season, posting articles making the case for the bipartisan Team Stewart as well as showing the many problems with O’Brien’s campaign. The feedback that our slate has received has been overwhelmingly supportive. The people of New Britain want progress. They recognize the improvements that have been made over the past several years and they know, as [...] With all the focus on the empty promises offered by Tim O’Brien there has been little chance to celebrate the work of Mayor Stewart. So here is just a brief list of the many accomplishments that New Britain has seen under 6 years of Mayor Stewart’s leadership. Celebration Foods came to New Britain, bringing 300 new [...] In his most recent mailing, Tim O’Brien has again shown he has little to offer the town besides rhetoric. To quote: “It starts with bringing down property taxes for everyone, improving our schools, and using new ideas to create good jobs and grow the grand list to get our city’s economic engine running again.” Perhaps Mr. O’Brien [...] Tim O’Brien has been calling for a “clean campaign” repeatedly in the press.
