Wilfredo “Willie” Pabon has been a resident of New Britain for most of his life. As a local business owner (New Britain Fence Co.) and community activist, he is more than qualified for a seat on New Britain’s Common Council. Willie currently resides at 205 Birchwood Drive with his wife Norma. His son is a member of New Britain’s Fire Department, and his daughter is an elementary school teacher. He currently serves as the police commissioner for the City of New Britain, as well as a Board Member for the Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut. He is a Board Member for the Human Resources Agency and a member of the Citizens Property Owners Association.
In the past Willie has served on the board of the Greater New Britain Teen Pregnancy Prevention Inc., as well as the Construction Workshop. He is also a volunteer Community Service Officer with the New Britain Police Department, and Parishioner at St. Joseph’s Church. His ties to the community and the people of New Britain run deep, and that is why as an Alderman, Willie Pabon will work to make sure that people, not the politics, are being served.
